The help, hard-work and commitment volunteers provide is essential to our cause, and brings hope to all our dogs and cats we have at our shelter. Get ready to get sweaty, dirty and to receive hundreds kisses from our dogs daily!

FAQ

The foundation is located around 40 minutes from Khon Kaen City and it’s best to take a Grab taxi (around 350 baht) or rent a motorbike in Khon Kaen City.

Our team invests in training the volunteers and giving them the best experience and therefore we require a minimum stay of 2 week.

Taking care of the animals (includes cleaning the cages, bowl and feeding the dogs). And in the afternoon there is time for socializing, training, swimming and playing the the dogs.

Bring clothes that can be dirty and a pair of good shoes are handy.
It is also recommended to have a small bag with you where you have a bottle of water or some other small items with you.

We have a volunteerhouse with shared rooms, men and women separated.  
And we have also private bungalows to choose from.

The common area includes a swimmingpool and kitchen. Breakfast and Lunch is provided however diner is to be made by the volunteers themselves. We provide the ingredients. It’s often common to cook together. All meals we provide are vegetarian.

There is also WIFI available and washing machines are free to use (you have to buy your own laundry detergent).
